Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American Vietnamese entrepreneur living in Orange County in California. With my wonderful partner JP as well as my happy dad Henry. Many people are familiar with me via my Instagram platform @annephung where I share my life- the good, the bad and all in between. When I was 1 and a half years old My family and I immigrated from the United States to America. If not because of the sacrifices made by my parents, I wouldn't exist today to share this life with you. So that they could give their children the chance to have a prosperous future, I focused on my goals and worked hard to get there. I had a set plan in life: go to university and get a corporate job, get married, buy an apartment and have children. My life that I planned for me wasn't what it turned into. My corporate job in 2013 was one I had a fear of. Status and money did not bring me joy. I thought I wasted my existence to get a pay check. I had a passion for fitness and having fun and helping people as I navigated towards this new path in life I found my calling in personal training. I began my business in the year 2014. It is my 7th anniversary in this calendar year. As an Asian female in this industry there are very few. To be a leader in my industry and to provide high-quality coaching and help others live a happier and healthier life by establishing a life that is tailored to meet their needs and help them achieve their objectives. Furthermore, I try to inspire others to pursue their goals and dreams and achieve anything they wish to do. While my professional life was taking off, I was struck by the greatest loss of my life- the passing of my Mom. To be in Heaven she now rests in peace after a long battle with the disease known as Scleroderma. But I still carry the memory about her each day. It's incredible how life gives us exactly the lesson we need, even when we don't realize that it is there. Her passing has changed my life in a variety of ways. It is my belief that her death gave me the opportunity to begin an entirely new chapter. The day she died on Tet/Lunar New Year Day was an opportunity for her to begin with a fresh start. It was a second chance for me to lead a fulfilled life. In my 30's I am alive and conscious of the fact like I'm living my life today instead of merely surviving as I did in the past. My goal in sharing my experience is to inform you that, you are not alone. I hope that you feel that love is real and that a therapy session can be normal. Your health is truly your greatest asset. My hope is that you live life to your best and never have regrets in the final hours of your life. We are the only assurance in this the world.
