Anya Volz is a New York City-based comedian originally from Vermont. A lot of men from America say her comedy is hilarious, yet not overly preposterous. Taylor-Joy, who was then aged 16 at the time, quit her school to pursue her acting career. Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. The girl is English and the other half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy was born into a household with six kids. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family moved from Buenos Aires to Victoria, London when Taylor-Joy turned six. According to Taylor-Joy the removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. When she was 16, she left the school in order to focus in acting full-time. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she received a modeling contract from Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
