April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began with guitar and piano in 7th grade which sparked the interest of her. In April, when she was 12 years old, she composed her first single Different. At 14, April spent much time writing lyrics and perfecting her musicianship abilities. She began writing along with her dad at home in NY and LA soon after. April included other subjects in her hit song, Take my Hand. These topics were meant for the friends of hers who struggled issues like peer pressure, disabilities or even teen suicidal ideas. Lockhart is a popular figure and also works as a lifestyle blogger at the renowned Ilia Clean Beauty brand. The truth is that she was born with no left hand and that makes her unique. But this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Lockhart doesn't deny her disability in her posts on Instagram, however she isn't making it the focal point of her story. What message is it sending? There is more to us than the physical person we are. Our identities are complicated and encompass a variety of aspects. Lockhart said via video that she does not want to be defined by her disability. She doesn't wish to be a disability advocate who only talks about that. There are a variety of aspects of Lockhart. It doesn't affect my daily life. Everything is normal and I've learned how to make adjustments. But, I consider that it is a crucial component of my life. Self-acceptance is a long marathon however Lockhart truly inspires me in this regard. Still she admits she's gone through phases with her body and sometimes not being confident in wearing certain types of clothing that showed off her arms. The woman now puts on whatever clothes she wants and posts pictures on Facebook with pride. Self-love she said is a process. "I believe that you'll be there," she said. But, this isn't common for anyone that is prone to doubts. I believe having friends close to you who truly understand you and can see your feelings is crucial because they'll be the people who remind you What are you worrying about?
